Life becomes so much better when you decide not to care. Just live for the moment and don’t let the drama bring you down. Don’t go that extra mile for someone who isn’t even worth the run.

100 Islands: A Good Voyage

The Hundred Islands National Park is comprised of 124 Islands (while it’s name is 100 islands) covering a land area of 1,884 hectares. Of these 124 Islands, only three islands have been developed for visiting tourists. They are Governor’s Island, Children’s Island and Quezon  Island. The rest of the islands are left undeveloped.

Way to Go!

The Governor’s Island

Our first stop is the Governor’s Island. This actually serves as the gateway to the rest of the Islands. At the other side of the Island, there lies Pinoy Big Brother House. It used to be called as Governor’s House but was changed to latter when it was used by the ABS-CBN for Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition where Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson stayed.  Moreover, among the 124 Islands, Governor Island has the highest peak. Part of the peak is developed into a huge viewing deck overlooking the panoramic view of the other islands. Governor Island also has small cave with a wide opening very accessible to its visiting guests.

The Children’s Island

The Quezon Island

Next was the Quezon Island, named after the late President Manuel Quezon. Being the one who proclaimed the area as the first National Park in the Philippines, this biggest Island among the 124 Islands is named after him. Quezon Island has the most number of visitors compared to the other Islands. There are several picnic pavilions where visitors can dine and even cook their food. There is also a small store selling some food and stuffs but since it is the only store in the Island, expect that everything is a bit pricey. Quezon Island has the most ideal shoreline for beach comber. It has the widest shoreline among other Islands creating a breathtaking view from afar.

Deep in the meadow, under the willowA bed of grass, a soft green pillowLay down your head, and close your sleepy eyesAnd when again they open, the sun will rise. Here it’s safe, here it’s warmHere the daisies guard you from every harmHere your dreams are sweet and tomorrow brings them trueHere is the place where I love you.

Deep in the meadow, under the willow
A bed of grass, a soft green pillow
Lay down your head, and close your sleepy eyes
And when again they open, the sun will rise.

Here it’s safe, here it’s warm
Here the daisies guard you from every harm
Here your dreams are sweet and tomorrow brings them true
Here is the place where I love you.

Curiosity Killed the Cat

Creative people who are willing to push boundaries and explore new ground tend to be the type of people that others are drawn to. Curious photographer’s images are attractive because they help the rest of us view the world in new and intriguing ways.

I may not be the best I can be in photography but the thing is, enjoy what you’re doing and leave em’ to the camera.
